About the Event
As many of you may remember, MJ’s marriage of 33 years suddenly ended last year, June 2025, with the sudden death of his wife.
In Venda tradition, exactly one year after the burial comes an important ceremony known as “the opening of the grave”.
These few days welcome “spirit” back into the homes and lives of those in mourning. A tent is set up, food is served, stories are told, and laughter, games, and songs are sung. The purpose is to create a happy, soulful environment for all community members and the churchgoers.
Living Yoga family is asking for donations to help support MJ in payment for this ceremony.
It costs an amount of R10 000, of which he has received a bank loan of R 4000.
We will host an event to raise the funds, or if you cannot attend, you may pledge an amount to support this initiative.
