In 2003 I undertook a 3 month backpacking trip through India. It threw my life completely upside down. I was transformed from a rugby playing jock, into a skinny vegetarian yogi in drastic fashion. Following the trip I spent 3 years in a daily practice of Kundalini yoga. This was followed by a sabbatical from all forms of yoga for a few years. In 2011 I was fortunate to walk into a Jivamukti class at Living Yoga with Sarah Bentz…and my love of yoga was instantly reignited.

In 2014 I completed my 300 hour Jivamukti Teachers Training at Blue Spirit in Costa Rica. I was thrilled and honored to be taught and mentored by David Life, Sharon Gannon, Jeffrey Cohen, Andrea Boyd and Yogeshwari.

I’m a student of Yoga, and I feel humbled to have the opportunity to teach asana to other students. Personally, I’m drawn to meditation, chanting and the devotional aspects of yoga . And I’ll endeavor to weave these elements into each class. Teaching is an opportunity for me to be of service to others and to a higher power.

Jai Shri Krishna!
