Phumla has been a practicing yogi for several years. Her journey began as a simple quest to become physically active and connect back to the body. Having heard vaguely about yoga she decided to give it a try. She was hooked from that first class and never looked back.
Phumla completed her yoga teachers training at Africa Yoga wanting to spread the gift of yoga. In her classes Phumla guides and encourages students to become conscious of their bodies and own their yoga practice. Her light-hearted teaching style encourages students to move beyond perceived limitations and awaken both the inner child and the peaceful warrior within.
Phumla’s classes work deeply into stamina and fleibility trainig, but no asana is absolute without deep concious breathes.  Students recive a well rounded work out and the whole class becomes a moving meditation.Phumla’s classes are suitable for students on all levels from beginner to intermediate challenge.“Remember, it is more important for a smile to spread over your chin that it is to get your chin closer to your shin.”                                                                                                                           –   Sturart Rice
