Join Cherryl Duncan (Director of Living Yoga and Advanced Certified Jivamukti Teacher), Ryan Ribbink (one of SA’s top surfers) for the 2012 New Years Tribal Yoga and Surf Retreat.
This retreat will take place at Turtle Cove, Tofo, Mozambique.

The Program:
Daily Morning Yoga Class with Cherryl
The day will start each morning with an intensive 2-3 hour Jivamukti asana class focusing on our relationship with the grounding energies in our lives , our connection to the earth and to nature. There will be a strong focus on standing postures as explore our ‘tribal’ roots and the ideas that keep us from evolving and moving forward in our lives.
During the classes you will experience different aspects of Jivamukti Yoga (Asana, Kriyas, Pranayama, yoga philosophy).
Daily Surf Lessons with Ryan Ribbink

The Evening program will run as follows:
Thursday 27th December-
DJ Sandy will be playing a ‘Welcome Set’ in the lounge/bar at sunset where we’ll all hang out and get to know each other a bit better.
Friday 30th December
Wednesday 2nd Januasry 2013
RADICAL Live Music Asana class with Cherryl and Sandy. Radical comes from the route word ‘Rad’ whch means ‘Root” . During this asana class , we will explore what the root causes of all our disease is, and how we can eRADicate them. This class will have a strong African chant focus.

Saturday 29th December
Sunet Kirtan with Cherryl in the Yoga Room followed by African Chants played by DJ Sandy in the Turtle Cove lounge/bar

Monday 31st December
New Year’s Eve Tribal Party at Turtle Cove. Bring a costume that best says “Tribal’ to you and pack in our dancing shoes as we dance the night away.
There will be groovy tunes to get your dancing as well as fire dance performance.

Tuesday 1st January 2013 (No Asana class in the morning)
Join Sandy for a 2 hour Poi workshop at Sunset on the beach.
